Location: Giallo Napoleone granite is quarried at quarry RN 000212, Corrego da Rapadura, Vila Pavao, Espirito Santo, Brazil. Giallo Napoleone Grande is the upper layer of Bianoco/Branco Napoleone quarry.
Description: Giallo Napoleone granite is a coarse-grained, ochre-yellow granite with very big feldspar crystals. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite and in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as a granite.
The veining and colour varies considerably and a small sample of Giallo Napoleone granite may not be representative of the whole slab therefore swatch samples must be approved for large projects to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes. Ideal for both interior and exterior use, Giallo Napoleone granite is frost free and polish constant.

Granite: Granite is a common and widely occurring type of intrusive, felsic, igneous rock. Granites are usually medium to coarse grained, occasionally with some individual crystals larger than the groundmass forming a rock known as porphyry. Granites can be pink to dark grey or even black, depending on their chemistry and mineralogy.
