Description: Ghibli granite is a fine-grained, beige-brown granulite of the Precambrian period. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite but in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as a granulite. Ideal for both interior and exterior use, Ghibli granite is frost resistant and polish constant.
Granulite: Granulites are metamorphic rocks that have experienced high temperatures of metamorphism. They typically have a granular (granoblastic) texture that is, a texture comprised of similarly sized and shaped grains and hence the name granulite.
