Synonyms:

Location: Colonial Pearl granite is quarried in either India or Sri Lanka.

Description: Colonial Pearl granite is a coarse-grained, grey-beige granulite with some red garnets. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite however in the area of application of the European Standard this stone must be nominated as a granulite. Ideal for both interior and exterior use.

Mineral Composition:

Granulite: Medium to coarse–grained metamorphic rocks that have experienced high temperature metamorphism, light, fine to medium-grained, containing chiefly feldspar, quartz, garnet and small quantities of other minerals.
