Description: A fine to medium-grained, black gabbro of the Precambrian period with golden-yellow sparkling broncite scales. This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite however in the area of application of the European Standard (EN) this stone must be nominated as gabbro.

Gabbro: A dark-coloured, coarse-grained intrusive igneous rock. Gabbro is very similar to basalt in its mineral make up. It is composed mostly of the mineral plagioclase feldspar with smaller amounts of pyroxene and olivine.

Description This material has a dark black background with golden specks in it. There are two distinct types: small/medium flake and large flake.
First Choice material will have no white lines or veins.
Lower cost Black Galaxy may have black or white lines or clouds.
General Usage It is mainly used for flooring, cladding, kitchen counters and table tops. It looks best when it is glossy. Available in both slabs and tiles.
